The Shaving horse (for Scott) and Thank many times over to other Deviants that have helped and inspired.
It is made from recycled Iron Bark Bridge planks that where destined for the fire. Perhaps the tools in my workshop wished they had gone by way of the fireplace. Iron Bark is extremely hard to work with not only is it tough but it ways a ton. Most shaping done by Adze,Draw Knife,Scrub Plan and finished with a Cabinet Scraper and Danish Oil finish. It has taken me three weeks working on it every day. |
